SASWest recently provided one of our boats as a platform for an ITN film crew, in Cornwall to film a promotional video.   A short break in the weather saw the activity team at Lusty Glaze put on a great show of Coasteering as the cameras rolled.  Seals were never far away and we began wondering; just how many times have the resident seal population been on film?

Designed in South Africa to provide a fast, responsive rescue boat in massive surf conditions, the Zapcat has evolved into a one design racing craft. Having two inflatable hulls and a power to weight ratio of around 340bhp per ton this boat is no slouch on the water. High straight line speed is carried into the turns, generating forces of up to 3G’s, and it is not uncommon to make air from the crests of waves.

Due to the nature of this activity it is not suitable for those with medical conditions aggravated by bumps and jolts nor those with heart conditions. You don’t need to be able to swim to take part but you better have a good grip!
